Grand OPENING of the NEW ATELIER/PROJECT SPACE with a POP-UP EXHIBITION by ukrainian artists community!
We are "ZIEGEL. Atelier Gemeinschaft ukrainischer Künstler:innen" - a community of Ukrainian artists and culture practitioners living and working in Graz.
Most of us had to leave their Motherland after the beginning of Russian full-scale invasion on February 24th, 2022. Here we have found our new home.
 We all come from different regions and generations, have different experiences and interests, and apply different approaches in our artistic practice.
We are different, but we are equal and united in our diversity. Driven by our strive to sustainable development and implementation of ideas, co-creation and co-production, community building and cultural exchange, we established an atelier/project space where we would be able to successfully reach all these goals.
 

ZIEGEL is more than just a physical location, or a workspace – by supporting collaboration and understanding among diverse artists,
it becomes a catalyst for growth and connection within our community, as well as with the other artistic communities in Graz.
